Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Walsh Memorial CofE Infant School has a very active and supportive Parent Teacher Association (PTA).  We are a charity and are often supported by local businesses. We not only raise funds but support the school in any way possible and over the years the support the PTA has given has been invaluable. They are much appreciated!

Much of the equipment used by the children, for example the new climbing frame, peace garden, pirate ship, visiting theatre, Living Eggs, iPads and Christmas costumes have been bought with money raised by the PTA.

How to become a member

All parents and carers automatically become members of the PTA when their child joins the school. The Committee is a small group of regular members, but everyone is welcome to attend meetings, be an occasional helper to assist at events when needed. We are always looking for new members and welcome new ideas.

This year we are raising funds towards adding to and installing the co-op musical equipment for the outside area for the children and new small world resources for Year One and construction equipment for the early years foundation stage.

Our main sponsor for many years has been Bridges Estate Agents. Without their support we would not have had the wonderful results at our fundraising events. The children and staff of Walsh Memorial wish to shout a really big thank you to Bridges Estate Agents in Ash.
