Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Walsh Memorial CofE Infant School has a very active and supportive Parent Teacher Association (PTA).  We are a charity and are often supported by local businesses. We not only raise funds but support the school in any way possible and over the years the support the PTA has given has been invaluable, they are much appreciated.

Much of the equipment used by the children for example the new climbing frame, peace garden, pirate ship, visiting theatre, Living Eggs, CD players and Christmas costumes has been bought with money raised by the PTA.

All parents and carers automatically become members of the PTA when their child joins the school. The Committee is a small group of regular members but everyone is welcome to attend meetings, be an occasional helper to assist at events when needed.  We are always looking for new members and welcome new ideas.

This year we are raising funds towards providing extra experiences for the children e.g. a muscian, a dancer as well as increasing science resources.
