Writing– Opportunities for emergent writing in role play. Daily Name card practise. Writing opportunities linked to phonics.  News writing.

Reading – Key vocabulary and simple sentences.  Patterned and story  language. Traditional Tales and ORT Big Books .

Phonics – Letter sounds continued – reading / writing and links with other areas of the curriculum

Retelling and sequencing stories through use of puppets and role play. Rhyming strings.
